Hi there,
Someone asked me the other day what the difference is between Obagi and Medik8 skincare, and I thought it was worth sharing the answer with you too. I sell both in clinic, but they do quite different jobs.
Obagi Skincare: This is the strong stuff. It's designed to fix bigger skin problems like pigmentation, sun damage and stubborn breakouts. Some Obagi products need a prescription, and your skin can go red and peely for a few weeks before it settles and starts looking better. Because of that, I'll always keep a close eye on you while you're using it. It also has a higher price tag.
Medik8 Skincare: This is the gentler, everyday option. The idea is really simple: vitamin C in the morning, vitamin A (retinol) at night, and sunscreen every single day. It works more slowly, but it's kinder to your skin and easy to stick to long term.
In short: Obagi is the intensive fix. Medik8 is the steady daily routine.
Not sure which one is right for you? That's exactly what a skin consultation is for. Drop me a message and I'll d point you in the right direction.

P.S. If you live near me (Bicester, Aylesbury and the villages in between), here are three ways I can help:
  • In-clinic consultation. No pressure. Tell me what's bothering you, and I'll tell you honestly what I'd do. Skin treatments. If you want results faster than home care alone. Injectable treatments that refresh, never look fake. Every treatment is carried out by me, a nurse with over 14 years' experience.
